Your Skin Remembers the Earth

Luma Earth creates clean, plant-based skincare with targeted formulas for acne, aging, and uneven skin—designed to support the skin barrier without stripping or disruption.

Timeless Skin. Targeted Formulas.

For generations, roots, seed oils, and plant butters have been used to restore what life takes from the skin.

Luma Earth continues that lineage with modern, plant-based formulations designed to target specific concerns—acne, aging, and uneven skin—while supporting long-term skin health.

Every product is created to work with the skin, not against it.

A System, Not Just Products

Luma Earth is built around targeted skincare systems. Each collection is designed to address a specific skin concern while supporting the skin barrier and long-term balance.

Rather than overwhelming the skin with harsh treatments, the focus is on consistency, nourishment, and restoration.

What We Never Use

What we leave out matters just as much as what we put in.

Luma Earth formulations are created to support the skin—never disrupt it.
We avoid ingredients that can strip, irritate, or overwhelm the skin, especially when long-term balance and barrier health are the goal.

  • Synthetic fragrances

  • Harsh alcohols

  • Parabens

  • Sulfates

  • Artificial dyes

  • Unnecessary fillers

Our “Never” List

We do not use ingredients that fall into these categories:

  • Parabens (all forms)

  • Phthalates (including DEP, DBP, BBP and related plasticizers)

  • Formaldehyde & formaldehyde-releasing preservatives (e.g., DMDM hydantoin, diazolidinyl urea, imidazolidinyl urea, bronopol)

  • Isothiazolinone preservatives (e.g., methylisothiazolinone, methylchloroisothiazolinone)

  • Harsh detergents / sulfates (e.g., SLS, SLES, ammonium lauryl sulfate, ammonium laureth sulfate)

  • Ethoxylated ingredients & PEG compounds (including PEGs, “-eth” ingredients such as ceteareth, laureth, ceteth, etc.)

  • Synthetic UV filters (e.g., oxybenzone, octinoxate, octocrylene, homosalate, avobenzone, octisalate, PABA)

  • Petroleum-derived occlusives (e.g., mineral oil, petrolatum, paraffin)

  • Plastic microbeads and other non-biodegradable exfoliating plastics

  • Propellants / aerosol systems (e.g., isobutane, isopentane)

  • Artificial colors and FD&C dyes

  • Skin-bleaching agents (e.g., hydroquinone)

  • Nanotechnology-based ingredients (where used as delivery systems, including nano-sunscreen tech)

  • Animal-derived placenta ingredients (e.g., placental protein)

How we evaluate ingredients

We screen every formula for:

  • Human health considerations (sensitizers, endocrine concerns, carcinogenicity flags, contamination risk)

  • Environmental impact (persistence, bioaccumulation, microplastics)

  • Functionality (we replace common “cheap stabilizers” with safer, skin-supportive alternatives)

Every ingredient is chosen with intention—to nourish, support, and restore balance to the skin.

What you can expect instead

We prioritize:

  • Plant oils, butters, waxes, and botanical extracts

  • Gentle, non-stripping cleansers

  • Modern preservation systems that protect safety without harsh preservatives

  • Fragrance: We use only all‑natural fragrances — never chemical or artificial.

Transparency

If you ever have a question about an ingredient on a label, contact us—we’ll tell you what it is, why it’s there, and how it supports the formula.

We Believe Skincare Is Sacred

Long before modern formulations, botanicals were used to restore balance and replenish the skin.

Luma Earth honors that tradition—creating products that nourish gently, consistently, and with intention.

The goal is not to fight the skin, but to support it.
